De'Yon Jordan
De'Yon Jordan was known for his smile, the love he put forth in this world and his contagious laugh. He loved many things in life, but most of all he loved his mama, his family, helping others, kids and shoes.
De'Yon worked at Finishline and loved helping his community find the perfect shoes for them. Over the years, he blessed so many with his outgoing, friendly personality. To honor his passing in 2019, we have started De'Yon's Jordans Foundation to bless school-age children with a pair of Jordans.

The Foundation
We are a nonprofit with a 501C3.
Our mission is to honor De’Yon’s way of life by giving back to our community. De’Yon loved children (often saying he would like 10 kids) and he had a love for shoes so what better way to honor him than to make sure that school-aged children in the community, who are in need of shoes gets a new pair. Children whose parents cannot afford to get them shoes.
Our plan is to tackle this visible sign of poverty and give our children shoes that they need to attend school with dignity and comfort, prepared to thrive, play and learn.
We understand that receiving a new pair of shoes can be life-altering for a child. It can improve school attendance, self-esteem and/or behavior. Allowing them the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Jordan is De’Yon’s middle name and you could always catch him wearing a pair.
We need to honor De'Yon by:
Spreading Awareness
Continuing the Fight
Volunteering and Donating
How it works
This program includes a needs assessment process to identify beneficiaries by going to local schools and speaking with principals, teachers, counselors/advocates)
We diligently strive to pinpoint those who require assistance. We kindly request refraining from soliciting us for shoes, as it doesn't align with our operational approach.
